Description

Standard Fruit Trees are the largest fruit size, usually growing between 18-ft and 25-ft tall, and 12-ft to 15-ft wide. These trees provide the most amount of fruit and shade to the neighborhood. These trees will be used in park open spaces. 


Potential Tree Species

Description

Semi-Dwarf Fruit trees are a medium sized fruit tree, usually growing between 15-ft and 18-ft tall, and 15-ft to 18-ft wide. An average sized person can usually pick the fruit from semi-dwarf tree without assistance from a ladder. These trees are the most common sizes for orchards, as they are the most convenient for processing fruit. These trees will be used behind individual homes to provide shade and privacy.

Dwarf Fruit Trees are the smallest fruit tree, growing between 8-ft and 10-ft tall, and about 12-ft wide. No ladders needed for picking or pruning. These trees will be used on properties to provide shade and privacy.

Description

Solar farm will include the purchase and set up of enough solar panels to generate 1 mW of energy. The exact number of panels will be determined after the acquisition of a property. 

Description

A commercial sized greenhouse will be constructed to grow vegetables and fruits. This sponsorship will include the design or purchase and construction of a greenhouse, approximately 30-ft x 100-ft.

Description

A warehouse will be used to store farm equipment and some processing equipment. The sponsorship will cover the design and construction of one warehouse.
